ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER
In the interest of student safety it is important that the school have the student’s current address and telephone number(s). If you are sick or injured at school, we must be able to make emergency contact with your parents. If your home address/phone number or parents’ work phone numbers have changed the attendance office must be notified immediately.

ATTENDANCE PROCEDURE
In order to ensure each absence is cleared appropriately, it is the responsibility of the student and family to notify the office in the event of a student absence or if a student needs to leave campus early.
 A parent must notify the Attendance Office after 8:30 am on the day of a student absence.
 A note signed by the parent/legal guardian indicating dates missed and the reason is required.
 Students returning from an absence must check in to the Attendance Office (after 6:45 am) and are expected to be on time to their first class.
 Off-Campus Passes are given out through the Attendance Office and are required for all students who wish to leave campus before the end of the day (including lunch, 4th, 5th or 6th periods).
 Students leaving campus before the end of the school day for appointments or other reasons must check out through the Attendance Office and must be signed out by a legal guardian with picture ID.

VEHICLE PERMITS
Student use of vehicles on campus is contingent upon safe and courteous operation and abiding by all campus parking regulations. Violators may be ticketed, towed at the owner’s expense, and have their parking permits revoked. All parking is by permit only. Students must park in designated lots (north fenced lot, south fenced lot, senior lot). Parking areas inside the campus and the main lot in front of the administration building are for staff parking only. Parking permit applications are available through the Attendance Office. Vehicles without proper permits may be ticketed and/or towed. Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.

BICYCLES/SKATEBOARDS
Bicycles must be locked and parked in the fenced bicycle racks which are closed to
students from 9:00 am-1:30 pm. Skateboards must be locked in designated rack, otherwise
they will be confiscated. The school does not accept responsibility for theft,
loss, or damage to bicycles or skateboards. Bicycles/skateboards must be walked while
on school grounds. California law requires students to wear helmets. Bicycles should also
be licensed by your city of residence and you should maintain a record of the bicycle’s serial number.

VISITORS
Rancho is a closed campus. Only current Rancho students and school/district staff doing school business are permitted on campus. All visitors must check in to the Main Office. School age visitors, toddlers or infants are not permitted on campus unless accompanied by a parent who has checked in with the main office receptionist.
