Course Description
AVID Senior Seminar is the culmination of the AVID program. Our focus this year will be on university applications, financial aid applications (FAFSA and the CA Dream Act), scholarships, college readiness, acceptances, adjusting to post high school education, and skills for the workplace. We will also be completing critical reading assignments, participate in Collaborative Study Groups and Tutorials. I look forward to sharing in the excitement of college/university acceptances and in all of the students' plans for the future. Students are expected to maintain grades of C or higher and to repeat any classes in which they earned D's or F's.
