Meet Mr. Primeaux

Mr. Primeaux is in his first year as Assistant Principal at Rancho. Mr. Primeaux earned a M.S. in Education, emphasizing integrating technology in the classroom from Walden University in 2009.  He graduated with his B.A. in History from California State University at Long Beach in 1997. Mr. Primeaux is “Homegrown” attending elementary, middle, and high school in Garden Grove Unified School District. He has been employed in GGUSD since 1997. Mr. Primeaux has taught Special Education as well as Social Studies during his career in GGUSD. 


Along with teaching in GGUSD, Mr. Primeaux has served many other roles: Head golf coach, Varsity Football Offensive & Defensive Coordinator, Junior Varsity soccer head coach, SES site Coordinator, technology coordinator, teacher presenter, mentor in OCDE’s induction program, as well as a teacher leader for California On My Honor: Civics Symposium for Teachers, put on by the State of California.  


Mr. Primeaux believes that the goals of Garden Grove Unified, academic skills, along with personal skills, will lead to life-long success.  Whether it is attending classes or participating in extracurricular activities students will have the opportunity to thrive and leave high school with the tools to make them productive members of society.


Outside of work Mr. Primeaux is an avid golfer, hockey fan, and a die hard DODGER fan! 


I am looking forward to working closely with our students, families, faculty and staff at The Ranch.
