Student Parking Permits REQUIRED by September 2nd
RAHS Parking Permit Regulations
1. All student rules will be enforced in the parking lot area. All drivers and passengers will adhere to the school rules while vehicles are on campus. VIOLATIONS OF PARKING AND/OR SCHOOL RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF PARKING PRIVILEDGES.
2. Only one permit per student will be issued. There is a $5.00 fee if a permit needs to be replaced for any reason. Applications are done online and your permit will be issued through the Attendance Office.
3. You must provide a valid California Driver’s License and Proof of Insurance to obtain a permit.
4. Parking permits are “cling” style that you will affix to the passenger side of your front windshield. You may register more than one vehicle and move the permit between the two as necessary, however, you may only have one permit.
5. All campus parking is by permit only. Student parking is only allowed in the north parking lot (along Dale St. near the track and weight room). Student vehicles are never allowed beyond the gates onto campus (including before and after school).
6. The speed limit at Rancho is 5 MPH. Students exceeding this limit or driving unsafely will have their permit revoked.
7. Students may not loiter in the parking lot. When your vehicle is parked it must be locked. All possessions (e.g. books, notebooks, lunch) needed for the day must be carried with you or stored in your locker. Do not use your car as locker!
8. The school is not responsible for theft, damage, or issues arising from your parking on campus. If you do have an issue, however, please report it to the office immediately and we will try to assist you.
