Welcome to the Rancho Alamitos High School
Library and Media Center
Open daily from 7:20 am – 4:30 pm.
Mr. Mahoney, Library Media Teacher

The Rancho Alamitos High School Library Media program is fully integrated into the school's curriculum and is central to the learning process of all students. The program promotes student academic achievement towards meeting state content standards and ensures that students and staff can effectively use and access ideas and information. Current up-to-date information in the form of books, databases, periodicals, reference materials, and online resources are available during the regular library hours. Students are also encouraged to use the library before school, during lunch, after school, or throughout the regular school day with a written pass from their teacher. The library also has 36 Internet connected PC computers available for teacher and student use.

Library materials are selected to serve all of the curriculum and the needs and specific interests of the entire range of students with individual learning styles and multiple intelligences. Students may access the library resources through our Destiny Library System using the following link: Library Resources  Login is the same as your school account.
