AVID 11 (Period 5)

Course Description

AVID Junior Seminar focuses on continued preparation for college/university.  Students participate in weekly tutorials, critical reading activities, Socratic Seminars, Philosophical Chairs, timed writings, and more.  students are expected to utilize their planner and binder to stay organized.  Additionally, the AVID program requires that students complete A-G courses with a C or higher and that they repeat any A-G class in which they earned a D
