The GGUSD Gate Parent Advisory Commitee invites all parents and teachers to the next GATE parent workshop on Internet Safety, which will be presented by Robin Lewis, Violence Prevention Educator, Westminster School District.

Parents will learn how to protect their child from the dangers of the Internet.  Discussion topics include:

• Internet safety - Who's out there?
• Chatrooms & Blogs
• Networking sites - MySpace
• View actual case studies
• What can you do?

The presentation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM at Peters K-3 Elementary School MPR, 13162 Newhope Street, Garden Grove, CA  92843.

Interpretation will be available in Spanish, Vietnamese, and Korean.  For more information, please call the GATE Office at 714-663-6488.

NOTE:  This workshop is not appropriate for children and they will not be permitted into the presentation.
