Rancho Alamitos Science
Rancho Alamitos is proud to offer rigorous programs for all student in the field of science. With dedication to student excellence we were one of the first departments in Garden Grove Unified school district to place all freshmen with science into college preparatory Biology, based on the premise that all dedicated students have the capability to master the California State Standards in that content area.
After completing this course, students move through a college preparatory program which may include Chemistry, Earth Science, Physics and Advanced Placement courses in Biology, Physics and Environmental Science. Each year over 100 students participate in Advanced Placement science programs at Rancho.
